Now everyone can get this pattern free who is not on Ravelry and Facebook .


The pattern is tested and if you still find any error please feel free to ask me if you need any help about this pattern.Pattern is so easy and keep going on and on.



Grandma’s Crochet Motif



Pattern by Syeda Iffat Sultana

You can make this with any yarn and any size of hook.

MATERIALS :

Size  I/ 5.50mm crochet hook  or size any want.

4 Ply Yarn : Different  colors or  any color you want

Tapestry needle

ABBREVIATION:

Beg= beginning 

Ch(s)= chains(s )

Ec= each

Rep=repeat

Rnd(s)= round(s)

Sc(s)= single crochet(s)

Sl st= slip stitch

St(s)=stitch(es) 

For corner shell (beg shell), (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in sp indicated.

Remember  ch 3 of beginning , always count as dc of  every rnd.


INSTRUCTIONS :

Ch 6,  join in 1st ch to make a ring. Its up to you , change color after 1 or 2

rounds or continue with same color.


Rnd 1:  Ch 3 ( count as a dc),dc, ch 2, 2dc), rep 7  more shells  in the ring.

Join in 3rd ch with sl st. ( 8, 2dc, 8 ch total).


Rnd 2 :  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell , ch 3, dc, ch2, 2 dc in

same ch 2 sp,ch 2, 2dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2 rep 3  times more, ( 4 dc shall,

2ch, 2dc, between 2  shall, 4 times, (8 ch 2 , 4 2dc)-) , join in 3rd ch.


Change color if you want.

Rnd 3:  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell , ch3,dc, ch2, 2dc, in same

ch 2 sp, ch2, 2dc, in next ch2 sp, ch2, 2dc, in  ch2 sp, ch 2, rep around 3

times more, join in 3rd  ch.


Rnd 4:  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell ,  ch 3, dc , ch2, 2dc in

same ch 2 sp, ch 2, 2dc in next ch 2 sp, ch2, 2dc in next sp, ch 2, 2dc in next

sp, ch 2, rep around  3 times more.

Change color if you want.


Rnd 5: (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same

ch  2 sp, ch 2, 2dc in next sp ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, 2dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in

next  ch 2 sp ( 6dc), ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, ch 2, rep around 3 times more.


Rnd 6:  (sl st,corner  shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2dc in same

ch  2 sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp and ea next 6 sts and ch 2

sp  (10 sts), ch 2, 2dc, ch 2, rep around 3 times more.


Rnd 7 : (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell ,  ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc, in

 same sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, ea next 10 sts and ch 2

sp (14 sts), ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, ch 2, rep 3 times more.


Change color if you want.

Rnd 8:  (sl st,corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell l, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2dc in

 same sp, ch 2, 2 dc, ch2, 2 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc , dc in next 10 sts, ch 2, 2 dc,

ch 2, 2dc, ch2, 2 dc , ch 2,  rep around 3 times more.


Rnd 9:  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell , ch 3,dc, ch2, 2dc in same

 sp, ch2, 2dc in next sp, ch 2, 2dc in sp, 2dc next 2 st, dc in next sp ( 6 sts),

ch2, dc in next  6 sts, ch 2, 2 dc in sp, dc in next 2 sts and ch 2 sp ( 6 sts),

ch2, 2 dc in next  sp, ch2, rep around 3 times more. 


Rnd 10:  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell, ch 3, dc, ch 2, dc 2 in

same sp, ch2, 2dc, ch 2, 2dc in next sp and next 6 sts, and next 2 sp

( 10  sts), ch2, 2dc,  in next 2 sts, ch2, 2dc in next sp, next 6 sts and 2dc in

next sp ( 10 sts), ch2, 2dc, ch 2, rep around 3 times more.


Change color if you want.

Rnd 11: (sl st corner  shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell , ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch

 2 sp, ch 2, 2dc in sp, ch 2, 2dc in next sp, dc in next 10 sts, 2 dc in ch 2 sp

( 14 sts), ch 2, 2dc in next sp, dc in next sts and ch 2 sp ( 14 sts), ch 2, 2dc in

 sp, ch 2 , rep around 3 times more.


Rnd 12:  (sl st, corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch

 2 sp, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, skip next  2 dc, dc in next 10 sts, ch 2, 2 dc

in next sp, ch 2, dc in next 10 sts, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, rep 3 times.


Rnd 13 : (sl st corner shell) in ch-2 sp of first shell ,ch 3,dc, ch2, 2dc in same

sp, ch 2, 2dc, ch 2, 2dc in sp, and next 2 sts and next  sp( 6 sts), ch2, 2dc in

sp, 2 sts and ch 2 sp,(6 sts), ch2, dc in next 6 sts, ch 2, dc in next sp, 2sts

and sp ( 6sts), ch2, 2dc, ch2, rep 3 times more. Join in 3rd ch.

For cushin cover make 2.

Join wrong side down,  Ch 1,sc in ea st and 2 sc in ch 2 sp around, and finish

 with crab st ( reveseable sc) around .

KUFI / CAP

I made this crochet kufi/ cap for my husband . I use the tapestry crochet technique for changing colors . Cotton yarn : Light brown, Brown 1 ball ea ch, 50 g or color you like. (8/4) Crochet hook nr: 4mm. I used hook nr 4mm but that is not a large size hook its look like nr 2.50 mm and 3 mm. ( see in fhoto). Chain: ch Single crochet: sc, Slip stich: sl st. Increase: inc. Decrease: dec. Continue : cont. Light brown: A Brown : B You can use one size small or large hook and do more increase or decrease sts rounds to fit the size. For colore change, always use tapestry crochet technique. When you have 2 loops on hook ,pull the new color and sc with new color and keep doing like this technique and try to carry yarn like this technique . COCHET BABY BIB BY ULLA

I made dozen of this crochet baby bib for my grandson and for new born babies in my family . This pattren is in danish and I tried to translate this in english. Pattren is by Ulla and published in danish magazine in 2002 or may be 2003. Remmber do sc only back loop, its creat a beautiful edge and look good. Pattren, Materiale: Sagitta nr. 12 from hjertegarn (Heart yarn) in 2 different colors. ( this is danish yarn you can use any cotton yarn which is perfect to crochet hook nr.3. Perl-inox crochet hook nr. 3. You can also make in one color. Make 26 chain, on crochet hook nr .3. In chain 2 make 12 sc, 3 sc in next chain, 12 sc and turn make 1 chain = rigthside. row 2, 27 sc in back loop, turn, chain 1, row 3 , 13 sc crochet, 3 sc in next st, 13 sc, turn, ch,1, and continue row 2 and row 3 until row 31, cut yarn.
